- Guyana. An oft forgotten country when it comes to adventure, but Guyana is home to some of the largest and wildest rivers in the world. Multi and single day hiking and wildlife watching tours to Kaiteur Falls, Baganara Island, the Rupuni and the interior will satisfy adventure travelers. - Belize. Thought of mainly as a destination for scuba diving in the Blue Hole, beach vacations to Ambergris Caye or visits to the rainforest and Mayan ruins, Belize also offers incredible caving, hiking, kayaking and scuba diving – the vertical walls of the Blue Hole are enough to intrigue any scuba diver. Multi-day and single day hiking trips in the rainforest and to Mayan ruins, plus kayaking on fast flowing rivers and zip lining through the rainforest canopy are enough to satisfy traveling adventurers.

Huancayo is located in the Peruvian altiplano. Looking at a map of Peru, simply draw your eyes to the East and you’ll find it. Only a seven hour bus ride from Lima, the capital city of Peru, you can visit Huancayo during a weekend trip from Lima, if desired. However, for many people, the voyage to Huancayo is the real adventure. A very popular alternative to bus travel is the high altitude train trip on Ferrocarril Central. The Dominican Republic is growing in popularity as one of the most popular destinations for Caribbean holidays. Not to be confused with Dominica; a much smaller island located in the Caribbean Sea between the Windward and Leeward island groups some 500 miles south east. The Dominican Republic shares the much larger island of Hispaniola with its neighbour Haiti and has a population of around 10 million. It’s capitol city, Santa Domingo is home to 3.2 million people and is located on the countries south central coastline.
